Return to the land

Come home to yourself

There is a place where the noise runs out.

Out past the last of the bitumen, the road turns to red dirt and the sky gets bigger than your thinking.

This is where we go. Seven nights in the Queensland outback, near Carnarvon Gorge, with nothing to do but return to the land and quieten everything down enough to listen.

Wallaroo Outback Retreat · 6–13 August 2027

This week is open to men and women.

Come on your own, come with your partner, or bring the friends you'd most like to sit by a fire with.

The land sets the pace

There's no schedule to keep, no session to rush to, and nothing you have to attend.

The week moves the way the land does, slowly and organically, following whatever the energy is asking for at any given moment.

Some days we walk through the trees on the red dirt. Some days we swim in the waterholes.

We journey into Carnarvon Gorge, and each person walks as far as they want to go, whether that's the first bend in the creek or deep into the gorge.

By the fire, and in the quiet

We gather in sacred ceremony. And when the sun goes down, we come home to the fire.

Evenings belong to the fire. We eat together under an enormous sky, tell stories, and share space the way people always have.

Every meal is prepared for you by our chef.

Then you wander back to your glamping tent, the lamps glowing and the bush gone quiet around you, and you sleep the kind of sleep you forgot you were capable of.

Nothing is expected of you

The time alone matters just as much as the time together.

This week holds an amazing amount of space to be by yourself, to sit with the land, to hear your own voice again and really connect in with yourself.

Nobody will come looking for you

  • Words can barely capture what I experienced at this retreat with Tracey. Her presence is pure soul embodiment so deeply loving, wise, and activating. I felt truly held, heard, seen, and completely nourished on every level body, mind, and soul. The food was next level divine honestly.. Hogwarts vibes with the magic that unfolded here. I’ve come out feeling rested, realigned, and reawakened in a way I didn’t even know I needed

  • This was my first time attending your retreat, but hopefully not my last. I've been to many retreats over the years but none of them compare to the uniqueness of this retreat. The food is so fresh, delicious, incredibly delectable, it supported the journeys we took so well. The whole time just flowed with so much time for genuine connection with the other participants. No set schedule meant time to relax unwind and find ourselves. You provided a whole space of coming home to ourselves and to each other. You have created the most joyous medicine cabinet of generous souls sharing there gifts and journeys.

  • These 'retreats' Tracey Mcmahon creates are filled with intention from start to finish and beyond. They are about releasing the bulls**t, coming home to yourself, surrending to change and embracing the TRUE YOU. It is a REMEMBERING. Not a makeover. I have actively been on my spiritual journey since I was 12 years old, and I have never been made more accountable, more integral, more joyful or been more held through my journey than with the work I am doing with Tracey. These 'retreats' not only give you space to reclaim and empower yourself, they give you an opportunity to connect to like-minded souls who will make up your Tribe, your Coven, your Crew. Your Family.

What you bring home:

A groundedness in your body that's hard to explain and impossible to miss

The feeling of walking in your own feet again

A really clear vision of where you're going

Not because anyone handed it to you, but because for seven nights it was finally quiet enough to hear it.

6–13 August 2027

Wallaroo Outback Retreat, near Carnarvon Gorge, Queensland. Open to men and women, on your own, as a couple or with friends.

I'm Tracey McMahon, an intuitive spiritual mentor, and I've been holding retreats since 2020, close to 30 of them now. What it has taught me is that most of us don't need fixing. We need quiet, the land under our feet, and someone holding the space while we remember our way home to ourselves.

Before anyone books, I like to meet you. So the first step is a call with me, a chance to feel into whether this week is calling you, and to ask anything you need to.
